CHECK BATTERY TERMINAL CONNECTIONS
Check if battery terminals are clean and tight.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair battery terminals connection. Confirm repair by performing system test using 165-DSS-5000P. Refer to the applicable instruction manual for proper testing procedures.
CHECK FUSE AND FUSIBLE LINK
Check for blown fuse and fusible link.

Check if generator case ground is clean.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair connection.
CHECK DRIVE BELT TENSION
Check drive belt tension. Refer to Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Repair as needed.

Ignition switch OFF.
Verify terminal “B” is clean and tight.

Autolight system
The autolight system allows the headlights to turn on and off automatically. The autolight system can:
Turn on the headlights, front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights automatically when it is dark. Turn off all the lights (except daylight running lights) when it is light. Keep all the lights on for a period of time after you place the ignition switch in the OFF position and all doors are closed.
