CONSULT
Check tire pressure for all wheels and adjust to the specified value. Refer to Tire Air Pressure.
Drive at a speed of 25 MPH (40 km/h) or more for 3 minutes, and then drive the Nissan Murano vehicle at any speed for 10 minutes.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of "BCM(AIR PRESSURE MONITOR)”.
Check DTC.
Is DTC C1704 detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.

TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION
Perform tire pressure sensor ID registration. Refer to Work Procedure.
Can the tire pressure sensor ID registration be completed?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Replace applicable tire pressure sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
Check the air pressure of all wheels. Refer to Tire Air Pressure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE again. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.
NO>>GO TO 3.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SIGNAL
CONSULT
Adjust tire pressure for all wheels to the specified value. Refer to Tire Air Pressure.
Select “Data Monitor” mode of "BCM(AIR PRESSURE MONITOR)".
Check that the air pressures match the specified value.
