DTC DETECTION LOGIC
NOTE:
If DTC is displayed along with DTC U1000 or U1010, first diagnose the DTC U1000 or U1010. Refer to DTC Description (U1000) or DTC Description (U1010).
Sunload sensor may register a malfunction when indoors, at dusk, or at other times when light is insufficient. When performing the diagnosis indoors, use a lamp (60 W or more) that is pointed at the sunload sensor.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Ignition switch ON.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “HVAC”.
Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.
CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR POWER SUPPLY
Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect sunload sensor connector.
Ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between sunload sensor harness connector and ground.

YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>GO TO 4.

Ignition switch OFF.
Check continuity between sunload sensor harness connector and ground.

CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR
Check sunload sensor. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace sunload sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect A/C auto amp. connector.
Check continuity between sunload sensor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair harness or connector.
CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR
Ignition switch ON.
Check input voltage from sunload sensor between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground. Refer to applicable table for normal value.

NOTE:
When checking indoors, use a lamp of approximately 60 W. Move the lamp towards and away from the sensor to check.
The sunload amount produced by direct sunshine in fair weather is equivalent to approximately 0.770 kW/m2 (662 kcal/m2·h).

YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Replace sunload sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.

The gauge indicates the approximate fuel level in the tank.
The gauge may move slightly during braking, turning, acceleration, or going up or down hills.
The gauge needle returns to 0 (Empty) after the ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.
