Ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch connectors.
-
Ignition switch ON.
-
Check voltage between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connectors and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect BCM connector.
-
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connectors.
BCM Main power window and door lock/unlock switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M81 140 D7 10 Yes 141 D8 18 -
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M81 140 No 141
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector and ground.
Main power window and door lock/unlock switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal D7 1 Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.

LATCH system lower anchor locations - bench seat
Your vehicle is equipped with special anchor points that are used with LATCH system compatible child restraints. This system may also be referred to as the ISOFIX or ISOFIX compatible system. With this system, you do not have to use a vehicle seat belt to secure the child restraint unless the combined weight of the child and child restraint exceeds 65 lbs. (29.5 kg). If the combined weight of the child and child restraint is greater than 65 lbs. (29.5 kg), use the vehicle’s seat belt (not the lower anchors) to install the child restraint. Be sure to follow the child restraint manufacturer’s instructions for installation.
