Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK POWER SUPPLY

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch connectors.

  3. Ignition switch ON.

  4. Check voltage between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connectors and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect BCM connector.

  3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connectors.

  4. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

    BCM Ground Continuity

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to Intermittent Incident.

    Your vehicle is equipped with special anchor points that are used with LATCH system compatible child restraints. This system may also be referred to as the ISOFIX or ISOFIX compatible system. With this system, you do not have to use a vehicle seat belt to secure the child restraint unless the combined weight of the child and child restraint exceeds 65 lbs. (29.5 kg).
