Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER FUSE

Check if the following fuse in fuse block (J/B) is blown:

Component Fuse No. Capacity
Fuse block (J/B) 22 10 A

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect the following harness connectors:

    • Fuse block (J/B) connector

    • Door mirror LH

    • Door mirror RH

  3. Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) harness connector and door mirror defogger harness connectors.

    D107 (RH)

  4. Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) harness connector and ground.

    Fuse block (J/B) Ground Continuity
    connector Terminal
    M4 5P No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER

Check door mirror LH.

Refer to Component Function Check.

Check door mirror RH.

Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
